NEM is awarded a new contract for a power plant in Taiwan
We are pleased to share that NEM Energy has secured a new order for the delivery of two Horizontal Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) with three pressure levels + reheat with SCR. The HRSGs will be installed behind two Siemens Energy SGT6- 9000HL gas turbines for the Kuo Kuang 2 (KK2) project in Taiwan.
The Project
The HRSGs will be installed at the Kuo Kuang Power Plant in Taoyuan City. With a total output of 1,200 MW, this power plant is a key infrastructure project aimed at addressing the growing energy demand and power shortages in Taiwan.
NEM is committed to providing Taiwan and the wider region with cutting-edge power plant technology. With the shift from coal to gas the region is making steps in the energy transition where NEM plays a leading role in heat transfer equipment.
