For existing power plants, NEM discipline experts and engineers have expertise in obtaining a thorough understanding of the customer’s needs, allowing us to determine practical solutions and modifications.
For new power plants, issues such as synchronization of the integrity operation window (IOW) of the gas turbine with the HRSG unit in which the IOW of the gas turbine is leading. NEM Boiler Services can deliver a sophisticated long term inspection program (LTIP) methodology using risk based inspection (RBI) technology to reduce inspections and operational costs since our method is not time-based driven.
With the ASME S-endorsement for new built and the NBIC R-endorsement for Repair & Alterations at hand, we as NEM Boiler Services are able to provide tailor-made solutions to our customers through the lifetime of their assets.

Inspections and Technical Advisory
We are highly qualified as an OEM to inspect and provide additional services and parts for your HRSG(s) and fires boilers.
Both approach and results are time-tested – maximizing uptime and minimizing risks, costs, and downtime. Incorporating the latest technology and experience, our engineers analyze your needs based on inspections. Our inspection philosophy is based upon safeguarding the integrity of the installation.
NEM offers a wide range of services in the field of refurbishments and modifications.
At some point the replacement of boiler parts may be necessary. Refurbishment & Modification services can include the replacement of HRSG harps, the supply of new valve, instrumentation or the refurbishments of a complete boiler installation. NEM also provides technical field advisory services and supervision on the installation of new parts.
Refurbishments and Modifications
(Long-term) Service Agreements
NEM can take care of the installation during the complete lifetime of the unit.
Together with the customer, NEM makes a complete overview of the expected services in the following year. This overview is conducted in the service agreement. The agreement can contain expected services on inspections, HRSG-related services and/or spare parts. At the end of the year, the actual used services are evaluated. NEM provides the customer with full insight into the expected costs with regards to the HRSG maintenance.
