NEM Energy signs new contract with Siemens Energy
NEM Energy signs new contract with Siemens Energy to supply two horizontal Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for a new combined cycle power plant in Texas, USA. Once completed, the plant will have an estimated output of approximately 1.2 GW.
This project will support the end user Sandow Lakes Energy Company, in delivering a reliable and efficient power supply to its customers. NEM Energy already has numerous units in successful operation across the United States, contributing to many gigawatts of equivalent energy capacity. NEM continuous to delivering cutting-edge HRSG technology for some of the largest and most efficient power plants in the world. The new power plant will be equipped with NEM’s patented DrumPlusTM HRSG design, giving the plant unique fast start and cycling capabilities, and allowing it to operate in harmony with the fluctuating renewables on the grid.
