NEM supplies three state-of-the-art Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for ČEZ Group’s new combined-cycle power plant in Mělník, Czech Republic. In addition to producing electricity, the plant will also produce district heating. The NEM HRSGs will incorporate district-heating modules that ensure a dependable heat supply to the district heating network of the cities Mělník and Prague.

  • The NEM HRSGs will be designed as vertical drum type steam generators with a highly modular design.
  • The modular units will be delivered in a highly pre-fabricated state, allowing the client to install the units in a very short time frame with less welding requirements on site versus a conventional horizontal HRSG.
