NEM Energy Group has been awarded both the Exhaust Gas Bypass System (EGBS) and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) scope for the new power plant at Câmpia Turzii in Romania. The new power plant is expected to have a generatingcapacity of approximately 160 MW.
Our team in Recklinghausen will supply the EGBS, while the recently awarded HRSG scope will be executed through our Dutch office in Zoeterwoude. Together, these contracts enable NEM to contribute key technologies to the project.
The combined scope covers the engineering, procurement and delivery of major power plant components and associated auxiliaries.
Câmpia Turzii is NEM’s first project in Romania. The project adds to our reference base in the region and reinforces our position in complex, high-performance steam generation applications.
We look forward to supporting the successful execution of the project and to further expanding our presence in the region.
