This project features the first DrumPlus Heat Recovery Steam Generators, which have become a gloabl reference for fast start and cycling technology. Meanwhile, many more units have become operational, further supporting operators with providing efficient, reliable, and fast power to the grid.

NEM delivers two DrumPlus Heat Recovery Steam Generators for this flexible combined cycle power plant in California. These were the first fast start and cycling units of their kind. The 560 MegaWatt power plant is in the U.S.A. often called a Rapid Response Combined-Cycle, indicating the reliable fast start capability.
