We replaced an old concrete cooling tower in Germany with two modern, pre-assembled cooling tower cells. The new installation is designed for counter flow operation and includes integrated maintenance facilities. With this upgrade, the system benefits from significantly improved performance, faster installation and simplified upkeep.

NEM covered full engineering services for the concrete foundations and piping, as well as complete electrical engineering for the cooling tower control system. Installation on site included all electrical work and lightning protection, ensuring a reliable and future-proof solution.

NEM Balcke-Dürr cell-type cooling towers are the universal all-rounders: they are used in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology as well as in industrial environments and various types of power plants. Of course our cooling towers not only comply with the conventional standard regulations for construction and operation, but are also optimally designed to meet hygienic requirements, such as those stipulated by the 42nd BImschV.
