NEM Energy signs collaboration contract with Italian company NME.

The Italian company will represent NEM in the Italian market. NME has extensive experience in the Italian energy industry since many years. Together with NEM they can provide cutting-edge power plant technology to Italian clients. NEM and NME look forward to a successful start of the collaboration.

We are pleased to share that NEM Energy has secured a new order for the delivery of two Horizontal Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) with three pressure levels + reheat with SCR. The HRSGs will be installed behind two Siemens Energy SGT6- 9000HL gas turbines for the Kuo Kuang 2 (KK2) project in Taiwan.

The Project
The HRSGs will be installed at the Kuo Kuang Power Plant in Taoyuan City. With a total output of 1,200 MW, this power plant is a key infrastructure project aimed at addressing the growing energy demand and power shortages in Taiwan.

NEM is committed to providing Taiwan and the wider region with cutting-edge power plant technology. With the shift from coal to gas the region is making steps in the energy transition where NEM plays a leading role in heat transfer equipment.

NEM Energy signs new contract with Siemens Energy to supply two horizontal Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for a new combined cycle power plant in Texas, USA. Once completed, the plant will have an estimated output of approximately 1.2 GW.

This project will support the end user Sandow Lakes Energy Company, in delivering a reliable and efficient power supply to its customers. NEM Energy already has numerous units in successful operation across the United States, contributing to many gigawatts of equivalent energy capacity. NEM continuous to delivering cutting-edge HRSG technology for some of the largest and most efficient power plants in the world. The new power plant will be equipped with NEM’s patented DrumPlusTM HRSG design, giving the plant unique fast start and cycling capabilities, and allowing it to operate in harmony with the fluctuating renewables on the grid.
